Commander! Cliffside is under attack! Enemy aircraft are inbound.

Take command of the perimeter defenses of a top-secret research facility as it falls under attack. Luckily, you have a few prototype laser cannons lying around, and now's a good a time as any for a field test. The longer you hold the line, the more cannons you can add to your arsenal.

Summary

The goal of Cliffside Defender is to fend off enemies as long as possible. You lose when all of your cannons have been destroyed. Cannons are added as you play, increasing your firepower as well as your effective health, but enemy missiles will destroy them in two hits.

Each cannon takes a moment to recharge between shots, but the cannons fire in sequence to keep up a continuous barrage. Adding cannons increases your overall rate of fire.

Enemy missiles can be destroyed by cannon fire, but you have another trick up your sleeve. You can overcharge the cannons to destroy nearby missiles. Use it wisely; it takes a couple seconds to recharge.

Enemies will arrive with ever-increasing frequency, durability, and aggression. Although you cannot win, there's no telling how many of them you'll take with you. How far can you get?

  • Left Click - HOLD to shoot
  • Right Click/Space - overcharge cannons
